Photographic Scavenger Hunt - July 2011

This is the first time I've joined in with the scavenger hunt.  I fell into the trap of thinking I had plenty of time and true to form I've had to rush to get the photos finished, so there are no great masterpieces here.  I managed to complete the list though.

Many thanks to Kathy for compiling the lists each month.

red, white and blue
part of a display of china in Tillions in Bradford-on-Avon

flip flops
I'm not sure if these are flip flops or sandals but
they're all I have so will have to do!

ice cream
an ice cream van, conveniently owned by a neighbour
who lives two doors aways from me

a flag
the pen is pointing to the part of the note which is
usually called the 'tail' but can also be called the 'flag'
celebration
these 'Celebration' chocolates were an end of year gift
from one of my pupils. I'm fairly sure that the 'celebration'
was down to the fact that he's going to senior school next
term so will no longer be having lessons with me!
stars
reward stickers for my pupils
a kite
not very easy to see, this is the British Kite Mark
stripes
a set of corporal stripes from my partner's collection
of army badges
something that makes me happy
music - teaching, performing and listening to it
sea shells
luckily one of my schools was doing a project
on the seaside
fields
I see this view every week on my way to and from one of
my Wednesday schools.  It is between Melksham and Calne.

strawberries
a quick snap of some strawberries for sale in The Shambles
 in Bradford-on-Avon

The Photographic Scavenger Hunt is organised by Kathy over at Postcards from the P.P.

  1. Thanks for joining in! I had exactly the same celebration as you for a while, then changed my mind at the last minute! Fancy having a neighbour with an ice cream van!

  2. I think you have a nice set of photos here! I've been taking part since January and every month I think I have plenty of time and then suddenly there's a week to go! It's great fun though and make you notice things you wouldn't see if you weren't looking out for them! I hope you will join in with the August list, I'll come back to see!
