Sealed Pot [3]

I haven't been well so haven't been out and about this week.  I hadn't budgeted for any expenditure this week so wasn't anticipating any savings but on the plus side, no expenses either!

The Sealed Pot
  • Saving small change in a piggy bank: Last week it weighed 841gms.  Today it weighs 915gms.
  • Save the Change: Nil - I haven't used my debit card this week.
  • Saving money left over from weekly pocket money: I'm still saving to buy a set of books, so nothing to add to the pot.
  • Saving money left over from weekly food and petrol budgets: I start back at work next week and have budgeted for petrol from then so hopefully may start seeing some savings if I'm more sensible about my use of the car.  The food budget has started but because of the way it is organised I won't be able to report on any savings until later in the month.  However, my brother in law dropped round with some fresh bread and other food for me and wouldn't take any money for it so I will save on the food budget, about £3.20.
  • Gifts/unexpected savings: Nil

  • Decluttering: I've started listing things to sell via Amazon but haven't had any sales yet.
  • Additional Work:  Throughout January there are presentations scheduled to take on new pupils but realistically they won't start until February.
