The Little Things

Read | I've just finished 'The Quality of Silence' by Rosamund Lupton, chosen by the book group and which I thoroughly enjoyed.  I've started on 'The Versions of Us' by Laura Barnett.

Watched | I went with Julie to see Skerryvore on Wednesday night.  We'd never heard of them before and didn't know any of their music - we just liked their name and the description of them in the local music centre's 'what's on' booklet, so bought tickets to see them.  It was money well spent ... a brilliant evening!

Heard | Mostly Heart radio.  I've had it on in the background this week but haven't really been listening to it properly.

Made | I've made progress on my home improvement plans.  I've sorted the kitchen and that's on order, but am still waiting to agree an installation date. The electrical work will be completed mid March, and I've also arranged for quotes to replace the decking with a patio.   Once I know that cost I can order the new living room furniture; I've seen the sofa and chair I'd like but it all comes down to cost, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that there will be enough money left in the pot.

Worn | All the odd bits of clothing that don't usually see the light of day and which could probably go to the charity shop.  I haven't caught up with the laundry yet!

And Lastly ... Today, it's been three years since I lost Ced.  I'll be teaching this afternoon and I have a couple of other things arranged so I won't be moping about at home on my own - it'll be a day for remembering the good times and looking back with happiness.

Thanks to Morgana for organising the Little Things, and to Amy for organising Five on Friday.
