SNAP!

I'm sharing some of the photos I took at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for Helena's SNAP meme this week.  I'm surprised that visitors were allowed to photograph the exhibits but there were no restrictions at all.

Here's a set of four different life sized statues I liked, all taken using my iPhone.

  4. Interesting SNAP collection. The last one sort of makes you want to stop & ask her what the problem is ... was there explanations of what the artist was intending or saying with their piece?

  5. Love these very much - is the second one of Iggy Pop? It looks very much like him. I am always surprised when exhibitions do allow photos to be taken. So rare. Mind you, I have seen people taking photographs when there are clear signs saying "No photos"!!

    1. It does look a bit like him but I don't know for sure. There were Academy staff in every room and they didn't stop anyone using their cameras. I was surprised because lots of exhibitions and galleries don't allow photography at all.
