Holiday Day 6

Well we didn't win the quiz. The winning team got 43 points and we managed 42, so at least we didn't disgrace ourselves. We have to wait now for the other houses to run the same quiz to see which house if the overall champion.

Today we're visiting Ashbourne, Sudbury Hall & the Museum of Childhood, and Tissington.

We actually went to this village to visit the church and the next photo gives you a taster of what we went to see! I'll write a post about this when I get home.

I didn't take any photos in the  Museum of Childhood as there were too many people in there. I do have a lot of the interior of Sudbury Hall which again will be shared in a separate post.

We ended the day in Tissington, but the Hall was closed, the church was locked and there were a couple of tourist type shops to look around so I stayed on the coach and read. I was way too tired to care and just wanted to get back to the hotel.

Tonight is a celebration of local produce so we are being treated to a five course taster meal. Should be fun!
