Sunday

Well the promised rain has arrived but I'm not entirely sure why it merited a yellow weather warning. Maybe it will get worse as the day progresses. It is pleasant sitting inside in the dry and listening to the raindrops falling on the patio though ... there's something comforting about the sound.

I'm having  another very quiet day today. Despite going to bed early I didn't sleep particularly well so don't want to rush around doing things that can easily wait. The only must do task is to check that I have everything ready for tomorrow's workshop, and then I'll be snuggling up on the sofa with a cuddle blanket and will carry on with the book group book - Heresy by S J Parris, which after a slowish start I am really enjoying.

  1. The loveliest thing about being retired is that we have time to just 'be', if that's what we want to do. No imposed timetables, schedules or meetings unless we choose them. I hope your quiet day does you the world of good; it sounds great.

    1. I am having a lovely day thanks Joy. I think I have this niggle of guilt because I still haven't finished the decluttering yet I'm having lots of rest days, mostly because I just feel so tired all the time. I have my heart specialist appointment this week so hopefully will get some answers.

  2. I enjoyed watching your video! I'm having rain envy. We went up to 99F, today! :D

Sundays are meant to be days of rest, so I'm glad you are taking it easy. The decluttering can wait. I hope the visit to the heart specialist will provide you with answers and, hopefully, everything will be well. (((HUGS)))

    1. You'd definitely have rain envy today (Monday) as it's poured down most of the day.

Thank you for the 'hugs' ... just what I needed xx
