June 2026 Goals
May was an awful month for me and I'm glad it's now over. I've had some sort of bug that I just can't shake off and have spent most of my time in bed. I've really only ventured out for medical appointments, although I did manage one trip to the cinema to see "The Sheep Detectives", which was a disappointment as the film didn't match expectations. On to June, and I'm hoping for a much better month. Home: There is some progress to report. The plasterer, the first of the trades for the final phase, will start work w/c 29th June. He will complete the living/dining room that week and maybe have time to start work on the study. He'll have to advise another date for completion of the study and the hall - both rooms I added to his workload at the last minute as it's too much to do in the week he has set aside for me. The rooms will be decorated as soon as the new plaster is dry enough and then I will sort out the carpet for the living/dining room, ...
