The Simple Woman's Daybook - 6 August 2011

FOR TODAY - Saturday, 6th August 2011, 10:48am

Outside my window... it is overcast and trying to rain.  Yesterday's sun has disappeared and it is much colder.

I am thinking... about life in general and the direction I would like my life to take.

I am thankful... for painkillers!

I am learning ... the scales I need to learn for my next music exam.

In the kitchen... nothing happening.  We've just finished breakfast and I haven't decided on the meals for the rest of the day.  Feels like a take-away sort of day.

I am wearing... t shirt, skirt and cardigan.

I am creating... teaching aids to support some of my less able pupils

I am going... to finish sorting the band music.

I am wondering... what the news from the hospital will be next week.  
 
I am reading... An Expert in Murder by Nicola Upson.

I am hoping... that the weather stays fine for the next week as my sister is on holiday with some of her family.

I am looking forward to... can't think of anything to put for this one ... I'm not particularly looking forward to anything.

I am hearing... the radio programme that Ced is listening to.

Around the house... no change - still loads of housework waiting to be done.

I am pondering... whether to go shopping today or leave it till next week.  Next week is winning!

One of my favorite things... reading a good book and forgetting the world for a while.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Hospital appointment for Ced. Sorting photographs and music practice.
