I am not quite frightened of them but managed to hold one in my hand yesterday to move it out of harm's way and I am beginning to see their beauty. Your photo highlights how delicate their wings are.Arilx

There is a type of arachnid that is known as daddy longlegs, over here! And that's what I expected to see in your photo!
I think the one you call a daddy longlegs is known as a huntsman spider in the UK.
