November 2026 Goals
October ended up being a very productive month. I continued unpacking the boxes stored in the conservatory and now only have about a quarter of the boxes left to sort through. I'd like to say that it'll be finished this month but I've hit a bit of a brick wall ... I've run out of space to find homes for the remaining items I'll want to keep!
So, my main goal for November is to open all of the remaining boxes still in the conservatory to get an idea of how much more space I'll need to find. I'm sure there will be plenty of items that I won't be keeping so those can either be dealt with straight away or stacked in one corner for now. This should only take a day or two, so once I know how much space I need to find, the next stage will be to look through the existing storage cupboards, have a second sort through of the things I've decided to keep, and then reorganise the cupboards to make better use of the available space. Hopefully, with a bit of effort and a lot of luck, I'll make/find the space I need and all of the 'keeps' will be out of the boxes and put away by the end of the month.
It's going to be a busy month socially with seven family and friends birthdays to celebrate and a couple of early Christmas meals to fit in. My goal is to stay well enough to be able to attend all of them!
My final goal for November is to source local piano teachers, and 1-1 swimming lessons. We actually made it to a swimming session in a new-to-us private pool, where sessions are restricted to four adult swimmers in each session. We both liked the facilities and were happy with the size of the pool (approx 15 meters x 6 metres, and a depth of 1.4 metres), but I wasn't too confident once in the water. We've decided that the best way forward is for me to have a few individual lessons to get my confidence back. I'd also like to find a piano teacher who will come to my home, or teach via online lessons. I seem to be stuck at the same level and think I need some help to push me on to the next level of music. There's plenty of teachers advertising lessons but none with vacancies, so I need to keep looking.
I'm not setting this as a goal for the month but I'd really like to get back to blogging regularly. The issue is all of the Blogger problems, the main one being that I can't always access any blogs, even my own. When I use a link to try to see someone's blog I am presented with this ...

I haven't seen that sort of screen on any blogs I've visited, but, occasionally, when I click on one of my own blog posts, I get a similar screen and it seems that I was in the HTML view rather than the compose view. When that happens, I click on the box in the upper right corner which shows a pen symbol and two drop down tabs appear, one saying HTML view and one saying compose view. I click on the compose view and I can see the blog post. But, that only happens when I click on my own blog posts.
