Saturday Check-In
I've lost a pound this week so that makes a grand total of 10 pounds in 25 days. I'm hoping to lose a pound a week from now on - that's what my daily calorie intake is calculated to achieve, according to My Fitness Pal.
I did go over the set amount of calories on two days, those being the days I still teach. The problem was the packed lunches, so I need to put a bit more thought into that aspect of my diet and do a bit of forward planning ... it should be easy enough.
Good job with the pound gone! Sometimes I think it is okay to go over the calories for the day as long as it is not every day; confuses the body I think. If it gets used to a certain amount of food, it will hold on to that weight; if it is not sure what it is getting, it might release some of that weight. (I'm full of wonderful tips for dieting, but wouldn't you know, I still need to (again) lose 40-50 pounds; good at dieting when I diet; bad at maintaining). So it is good you are striving for a pound a week; slow and steady wins the race.
