SNAP!
I've been out in the garden hunting for photos to share with you for Helena's SNAP! meme this week. I've found some pretty reminders of how lovely nature is; there are three showing promise of what is to come and the fourth is a reminder that the beauty remains even after the showy flower petals disappear.
My favourite clematis has lots of buds ...
... and the pieris is getting ready for its display of delicate pink flowers
The hydrangea is looking less dead (that's a horticultural term!) and is covered in buds .....
.... and a summer snowdrop, holding on to its last petal, is still adding colour and interesting shapes to that part of the garden.
It's great to see everything ready to burst out. One slight problem is that the weeds are growing too!
ReplyDeletethat last photo really is pretty. How nice to see budding flowers!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures; we came home to daffodils blooming, but there's not much else in bud quite yet. I was hoping the trees would leaf out this week, but the forecast calls for cooling temperatures, so it's unlikely.
ReplyDeleteA very nice SNAP collection - like you I enjoying finding the beauty in my garden. I check several times a day to see what is about to burst forth in bloom.
ReplyDeletelovely to see the promise of growth to come - my hydranger is finally looking less dead too
ReplyDeleteLess dead is a perfectly acceptable term around here too. This is a really lovely set for Snap, full of hope.
