This Weekend
M (the gardener) was here today and kindly brought me some cuttings from her garden so I can have some colour in the garden this year, assuming that they survive of course. She brought morning glory, geraniums, nasturtiums, and some mesembryanthemum. They're now planted in some of my pots and spread out around the garden, which is now looking so much better.
Niall has been busy assembling a couple of clothes rail, so my next task is to unpack the rest of my clothes and pass the items I don't want onto a charity shop. That always takes longer than I think so it's a job to tackle today and into next week. I also need to do a couple of loads of washing today, and work out all the meals for next week ... Niall will pick up the fresh fruit an veg once I decide what we need.
Apart from that, we'll carry on with our latest binge watch - Department Q, on Netflix. We're only up to episode 4 but we're both really enjoying it and should finish the series this weekend. I have plenty of books to read and a jigsaw puzzle to finish, so I have plenty to do to keep me out of mischief!
I have been watching Dept Q, enjoying it. Only realised after two episodes that I had read the books. They were set in Sweden so the stories seem different. I only realised when I saw the authors name on the credits. DOH! Mind you I watch films that I have seen before and don't really remember them at all. Glad to see that you are settling in well in your new home, Eileen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole.
DeleteWe finished watching Department Q and both really enjoyed it. Niall wants to watch the original version now. I'm a bit like you and often forget that I've watched a film before. xx
Looking forward to seeing how your garden takes shape as you and M work your magic. :)
ReplyDeleteThere will eventually be lots of photos for you to see xx
