It's November ...
... and there's a lot happening this month. Indoors, all the radiators are in a terrible state so they will all be replaced mid month and a Hive controller fitted, ready for a lovely warm house over the winter months. The electrician is returning at the end of the month to finish off, and then once he has finished, all the windows and external doors will be replaced so I'll finally have the security of locking windows again. Outside, the landscape gardener starts work today. He'll replace both side fences first and then replace the sleepers in the retaining wall at the bottom of the garden by the stream. He's previously said that unless it's torrential rain, he'll still be able to get this part of the work done. However, he's also replacing the patio, but that is weather dependent and can't be done in the rain. If it's too wet or too cold the patio will have to wait until the weather improves. Gardener M will be visiting some time during the month ...
