I'm Following a Tree
... or I was until today! Here it is, now identified as a Mountain Ash, so much too large for my garden. and here a closer photo of the leaves ... and to finish, here's where it used to stand. The tree surgeon was here earlier today to remove all the problem trees, the problem being they were either too large for my garden and planted too close to the bungalow, or were planted too close to the bank of the stream - a section in the deeds prohibits the planting of trees and large shrubs within a certain distance of the stream. I took this one from inside the conservatory, hence the blotches on the photo. I now have to look for another tree to follow for next month.
