Monday Activities

It's just the usual Monday activities today, so pottering about at home this morning and the u3a canasta group this afternoon. At the moment I'm not feeling too great so am hoping I'll be well enough to go - the pain in my chest and side has returned, the pains I had when they diagnosed pneumonia, so I'm not feeling too good. I'm waiting until tomorrow to make sure that it's not as a result of sleeping in an awkward position, but if the pain is still there tomorrow, I will get an appointment to see my doctor.

I plan to apply for the grants tonight. I have found the documents I need ... breathes a huge sigh of relief ... so now we all need to keep our fingers crossed that I am eligible for the money, please. I don't know how long it will take to hear the results, but hopefully it won't take too long.

The magpies obviously consider the garden to be theirs and not mine. They protest very loudly when I go near the conservatory door and if I dare to go outside after their protest, they fly off and watch from one of the trees on the other side of the stream. I haven't managed to get a decent photograph of them yet, so I'm hoping they will get used to my presence and stay awhile.

  1. I hope the pain will go away and it is just from the exertions of the past few days with the moving, unpacking, dust from the ceiling redo, etc., and not serious. But, yes, please do see your doctor if the pains continue. I hope you qualify for the grants.
