The conversion from bathroom to wet room was completed today. I'm over the moon with the end result ...
I can't use the shower until tomorrow as the last bit of sealing needs to dry properly, but the toilet and the sink can be used now. I'll spend some time this afternoon moving all the toiletries, etc. back in and getting the storage organised. There's storage in the tall cupboard and the big drawer under the sink - both of these are actually a lovely blue colour, rather than the dull black shown in the photos, and they pick up the blue specks in the wall tiles. The flooring is a mottled sandy colour which picks up the sandy colours in the wall tiles. The colour in the photos doesn't show the true colour of the wall tiles so here's a close up
I won't need to wash in the kitchen sink anymore. I can now start my days with a lovely hot shower!
Your new wet room looks so lovely! We had bathrooms like that in my childhood home, with a shower and no bathtubs (my sister's bathroom had a bathtub, however).
