Sixty Nine + One!
We celebrated our 70th birthday yesterday (I have a twin sister for those who don't know) and both of us had a wonderful time, though not together. I went with Niall to the Ustinov Studio in Bath to see the matinee performance of "The Last Five Years", which we both enjoyed, and then back home for an Indian takeaway. I'm not sure exactly what my sister did but she seemed happy enough every time we spoke ... maybe her celebrations involved alcohol!
I was planning to go to London to celebrate the day but in the end I didn't feel up to it ... I currently have vertigo, so didn't fancy walking the London streets with all the dizziness that vertigo brings ... but I was very happy with our alternative choices for the day itself. The musical I wanted to see in London is coming to Bath in March, so I'll still get to see it and it'll be much easier all round.
The celebrations continue as I'll be meeting friend L for our joint celebration; her birthday is on the 29th, and we'll be going out for a meal. Friend J and her four daughters also have an afternoon tea planned for me. I don't know if they are taking me out, whether we'll do it here, or when it'll be. I do know that I am really looking forward to it and that whenever it is, it will be good fun for all.

Happy birthday, 1955 was a good year.
