Weekly Reflections

 

Reasons to be cheerful ...

• texting, phoning and emailing with family and friends.
• adding some social dates to my diary.
• enjoying a visit from my nephew and his family.
• finally getting the kitchen organised; I unpacked all the kitchen stuff and put it away in the drawers and cupboards, but have since changed it around three times! I think I have it organised as I want it now.
• returning to blogging. I'm hoping I can keep blogging regularly this time. It's something I've missed doing.
• spending time with Niall.
• reading! Fingers are crossed that I can meet my target of reading three books this month. 
• currently watching the second series of Night Manager and enjoying it.
• benefitting from some batch cooking I did back in November/December. It's great to have some home cooking even though I'm currently unable to stand for any length of time to cook a meal from scratch ... Niall has been able to put some meals together from my batch cooking efforts.

I am grateful for ...

• the NHS and all the help I am currently receiving.
• central heating keeping me warm now the temperatures have dropped.
• more gifts of paperbacks from my sister.
• all the help I've received to get the bungalow to the current state.
