Photo Pairs
This week's photo pair is slightly different from my usual approach. Here are two blue flowers, seen at the Courts Garden in Holt.
I've no idea what they are, so please don't ask me!
Thanks to Helena for organising this every week.

I think you have a scabious and a cornflower here - top and bottom. What they are called though doesn't matter when they are as beautiful as this does it!!! A great pair! xx
ReplyDeletebeautiful - I love cornflowers - your 2nd image
ReplyDeleteI didn't know either, but I'm loving the beautiful blues
ReplyDeleteI would go with scabies and cornflower too. They are both a vibrant blue. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat should read scabious. I am not sure I can blame the predictive text for that. Hopefully there was no scabies at Court Gardens!
ReplyDeleteI'm agreeing with the scabiosa and cornflower - both are such a beautiful blue!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Pair. Lovely blue. The first photo (Scabious), your close up photo shows why it also goes by Pincushion.
ReplyDeleteI definitely do like the closer view of it, but it is such a pretty flower!

I'm unfamiliar with the scabiosa, but love cornflowers! Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeletebeautiful flowers!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these - but the first one is my absolute favorite! Never have I seen anything like these flowers before!

Nice ones!
ReplyDeleteI love both of these and funnily enough always confuse the two and yes, they are scabious and cornflower :)
