Kitchen - Day 2
The first coat of paint going on the ceiling ...
All the units for the 'cooking' side of the kitchen are in place and fixed to the wall. The two tall units will hold the fridge/freezer (in the one nearest the back door) with the oven and microwave in the other one. The middle of the smaller units will house the induction hob, with the extractor fan in the middle wall unit above ...
By the time they went home the microwave was in position and they'd built some of the units for the other side of the kitchen. Unfortunately, they hit a bit of a hurdle assembling the drawers so all progress ground to a halt and they called it a day with assurances that they will have a look on YouTube tonight to see what they need to do!
Wow, that's a lot of progress in one day!
ReplyDeleteThey've done well so far, haven't they. They first estimated that it would take about a week, but it'll probably take longer now as I have asked them to do the tiling as well. My neighbour is having a new kitchen fitted, approx the same size as mine, and they have been told it will take three weeks! xx
