13/365: Growing Over the Fence

This plant is growing over the fence from my neighbour's garden.  They offered to cut it back but I persuaded them to leave it, at least until I have some plants of my own established.  I don't know what it is but I rather like it so, if I do decide to cut it back, I'll take a cutting first.

  1. My first guess is honeysuckle, but I could be wrong. Joy xx

    1. I'll do a close up next week, so you'll be able to see more detail.

  2. If it is ivy then be aware that it will destroy fances and walls as it roots into brickwork and is no repector of the integrity of fences and plants. Ivy destroys. If your neighbour's plant still has leaves at this time of year I suspect it is going to be some sort of ivy
