Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt | The First Photos
I'm sharing my first lot of photos with you ... only one of them was planned and the rest are lucky finds!
No. 12 | A public restroom, bathroom or toilet. One of my friends has been living about 40 minutes drive away for the last few months but she now has a permanent job in London and will be moving in a couple of weeks, so this morning I met her at Dobbies Garden Centre in Shepton Mallet for a farewell breakfast. After we'd eaten we were wandering around looking at all the plants when I mentioned the scavenger hunt and showed her the list. She screeched out loud and dragged me off to their toilets to show me these ... first the Ladies with its flower sinks ...
... and then I asked one of the male assistants to check that the Gents was free and I photographed the urinals. Aren't they amazing?
On the way home I stopped off in Nunney to look around the castle (I'll share those photos with you tomorrow) and also had a quick wander around the village where I found some more photos for the hunt.
No 2 | An ornate door knocker. A lion's head ...
... and an anchor.
No 20 | A natural body of water. The brook which runs through Nunney.
No 3 | A person walking a dog.
and finally (for today) ... No 11 | A Television Satellite Dish, conveniently attached to the side of my home.
Details of Rinda's Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt can be found here. It's not too late to join in if you want to ... everyone is welcome.

ReplyDeleteI like the anchor door knocker. We have those sinks here too..and that's answered a question for me. I always wondered whether each branch had a different fancy restroom look
