26 Week Photo Challenge - People

Late again!  I was definitely out of my comfort zone with this theme, just couldn't find a location where I felt comfortable photographing strangers.  I ended up at Westbury Station and parked opposite the entrance to get the last two.  The first one is taken looking through the fence to the Minehole Lake which is next door to the station.

Photo No 1: not people, just a person - does this count?  This is my favourite even though the exposure isn't right.  I couldn't decide whether to crop the bottom of the photo to remove some of the clutter but in the end decided not to because however I cropped it I was left with the end of the pole and it just looked a bit odd.

Photo No 2: this is a case of snapping away to get a photo with people in before they noticed me!

Photo No 3: I felt more comfortable about this because I was behind them but again it is a quick snap.

Linking with Karen @ Me, My Camera, EyeThanks for organising this challenge, Karen.

  1. I like all of your pics, Eileen, and the top one is my favourite, too, but I'm with you, its very difficult to point a camera at someone, unless you're in the middle of a busy town. Most of my "people" photos are back views.

  3. Thanks for taking part Eileen, have to agree with Louise, love the first one, like the position of the chap looking out across the lake, looks deep in thought. Like you I am not comfortable photographing people face on, but it good to step out of the comfort zone every now and then :) You have done a good job. xx
