Thursday

Yesterday was perfect. In the end I only watched three films, partly due to spending a lot of time chatting to my friend on the phone, but also because three films in one day was enough!

Today, there's no housework to do and the diary is empty so I have to decide how I'll be keeping myself occupied. It's supposed to be fine today so if that proves to be the case, plan A is to look for some photos for the WPSH. If I can't summon up the enthusiasm for that, then plan B is to choose a new book and enjoy some time reading.

  1. Sounds like you will be enjoying a nice, relaxed day, today! Hope you get lots of pictures for the WPSH if you decide to do that!

    1. It's turning out to be a completely relaxed day - it's midday and I haven't done anything yet!

I don't think the photos are going to be taken today as it's overcast and not good light conditions. I have the lights on indoors.

  3. I hope you enjoyed the three films that you watched, and you can always watch the other one another time. I'm pretty sure I'd only be able to manage one film a day now x x

    1. I did, thanks. I'd seen two before so knew what to expect. The new one was The Holiday which I enjoyed very much.

    2. Very pleased that you enjoyed my recommendation, I loved that film, and some of it was shot where my grandson and family live. My DiL got held up when they were shooting the village shop scene, she had gone into the shop and wasn't let out again, while I sat in the car in the carpark with her kids waiting for her for what seemed an age!

    3. I watched it on Netflix but see it was on TV last night as well. It was a good film, not too OTT with the two relationships.

  4. Another perfect day planned. We watched a new to us Christmas movie, "The Christmas Candle". It was OK, I wouldn't buy, but it had all the elements of a good Christmas movie. Some were a little better in playing their roles. Leslie Manning & Barbara Flynn were both in it.

    1. I think The Christmas Candle may be available on Netflix so I may get round to watching it. There's a Dolly Parton Christmas one that I will probably watch next!

    1. Yes, I love film marathons. High spot of every year is the Harry Potter one over two/three days!

  6. I think of all the days of the week, Thursday are the best for being low-key, so 3 films sounds fabulous.
