The Living Room (2)
Here's the other end of the living room. The small chair in the corner is the one that will be in the music room when I've cleared enough space for it and in it's place I'd like to fit another armchair. I did buy one when I bought the sofas but that one has found a home in the dining room, so I have the option of buying the chair that matches the sofa (here) or looking around for something else. I haven't made my mind up yet. The side table is the other one of a pair which will be sold and replaced with something more suitable for the space.
Oh that's going to be a hard decision to make - I do like a wingback chair. Big decision & what colour or pattern!
ReplyDeleteIf I get the chair to match the sofas it'll be the same fabric.
DeleteI dearly love my recliner.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely room, well done.
xx
There isn't enough room for a recliner, and I sort of have them linked in my mind with my late partner's illness. The room feels like 'home' 😃
DeleteIt's a very nice looking room!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon.
DeleteHello Eileen,
ReplyDeleteI like this. The colors and the framework.
Hugs,
Ailme
Excuse me. I want to say "furniture layout"!
DeleteThanks Ailime, all the furniture is fitting in as well as I'd hoped without feeling too crowded.
DeleteYour living room is looking really nice, Eileen. I like that arm chair - I have a fondness for wing chairs. Getting it in the same fabric as the sofa makes sense, but the pink fabric shown in the link is also nice, if it matches your curtain colors. :)
ReplyDeleteThe pink isn't the right colour. In real life it is more of a red than a pink so I'm going to use the same fabric I chose for the sofas.
DeleteYou mentioned a snuggle blanket previously and it set me thinking that if it was me I would choose to highlight the bluey colour in the curtains............. just thinking. I love the restful feel your living room has. Mine would feel the same if it wasn't for the mountains of cr... stuff we have hoarded
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike. There's blue in the curtains and green leather on the Davenport so I'd like to include those colours if possible. I'm probably going to do a lightweight patchwork quilt for one of the snuggle blankets but haven't given any thought to the fabric yet.
DeleteIt's great to hear from you again. I haven't seen you online for ages and was getting worried ... I hope you're well. x
