Monday

This has been my view for most of the day - hospital waiting rooms!

It's been a case of more 'waiting' and less 'seeing a doctor', which for some reason is extremely tiring. I'm home now, all tests complete and I just have to sit back and wait for the results. I'm not expecting bad news - today was a case of dotting the i's and crossing the t's!

I abandoned the idea of any photography in Bath. Actually the fact that it rained as soon as I left the shelter of the building helped me reach that decision, so I came straight home and have been pottering about doing bits of tidying here and there. I'll put some more laundry in to wash and dry once I've finished this post and that will be my lot for the day. Tomorrow is all about admin!

  1. Well at least those chairs look somewhat comfortable. It's the waiting for results that niggles at the back of the mind even though you know there's no issue to worry about. I do all my laundry on the weekends or at night after 7pm - we get much cheaper electric/hydro rates on the weekend or after 7pm.

    1. I usually wait until the evenings but I've got behind with things and just want to catch up with everything.

  2. I agree, waiting around doctors' offices is very tiring. At least they had a well-stocked book case, where you were waiting. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the test results will all be good and there won't be anything to worry about. I think you made the right decision to come home, afterwards.

    1. The books are for sale to raise funds for the hospital. Most of the waiting rooms and communal areas have things for sale. I take some of my books to them from time to time.

  3. Waiting is bad enough, but waiting for test results is the worse. Hoping you get stellar scores showing all is well.

    1. The Registrar was completely confident that everything is fine. It's more of a precaution because of my family history rather than any symptoms I have.

  4. Glad it's all done. Look forward to hearing "No treatment necessary". The rain today has been very tiring.

  5. Hope the tests come back quickly. I agree that waiting for them can be stressful, even when one is not actually worried.
It rained here too but today is supposed to be much nicer again - fingers crossed.

    1. It's looking reasonably promising to brighten up later, but although there is some sunshine now it is very cold out.

  6. I've done my fair share of hanging around in hospital waiting rooms, it's so tiring, and boring! I hope the results are what you're wanting and that they don't take too long to come through, it can be a worrying time.

    1. I took a book with me this time. My appointments were roughly on time, I just had three of them with too much waiting in between for the different departments - mammogram, eyes, digestion.
