Thursday

I had a good night's sleep but feel completely exhausted after yesterday's trip to Bath for the graduation, so it's another day at home resting as much as possible. It's raining so it's unlikely I would have gone out anyway.

The tiredness I feel is out of proportion to my daily activities and I'm wondering if I may be anaemic. I have blood test scheduled for next week so I will ask for them to test for anaemia at the same time.

  1. It's worth investigating, I think. It's really not like the you that I know through this blog. Viruses can take a very long time to clear completely though.

  2. It is definitely worth checking if you're having a blood test anyway but, in the meantime, it might be worth starting on a multivitamin with iron.
Hope you're feeling brighter soon. X

  3. Take care of yourself. Sometimes we allow things to build up too long & then The Universe gives us something that makes/forces us to take a step back/slow down. Be well my friend, take the time, read the book, enjoy the nap ... :)

  4. Oh it's been a lovely sunny day here! Hope you get to the bottom of the tiredness. There are so many factors at play - be kind to yourself and yes, rule out the obvious things, if you've got an appointment anyway. Take care.

  5. Eileen, in addition to the anemia (American spelling!), have them check your Vitamin D levels. There was a time when I felt very tired all the time (long before chemo made me feel tired all the time!) and it was due to very low Vit. D levels. I was put on prescription strength Vit. D capsules and things got a lot better. On the other hand, it just could be the after effects of the virus, too.

    1. I will do Bless. I'd hope they'd be okay because I take vit.D every day to aid the absorption of the calcium tablets I take (as I am allergic to dairy).
