SPSH First link up
It's time for the first link up for the Summer Photo Scavenger Hunt and the opportunity to see how all the other participants are getting on. I think that seeing how everyone has interpreted the prompts is the best part of the hunt, so here are my efforts so far. They have all appeared on my blog at various times in the month but I've grouped them together in this post to make it easier to see.
2. Something with or in a knot
3. Something with the colours of your country’s flag
4. a toy you play with
6.Something in the shape of a triangle
7. Something that displays a rule(s)
9. Something that starts with the initial of your name (first or last)
17. something naturally round
20. something with the number 7 in it
Alt C. something with four sides
Those are all very good finds for the prompts. I, too, enjoy seeing the interpretations people come up with - and then, I say, why didn't I think of that?! LOL.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bless. It's always fun seeing everybody's choices and that opportunity to say "why didn't I think of that?" 😂
DeleteEileen all good finds & thanks so much for joining in to this year's SPSH. I still chuckle over your egg photo; opportunity cracked on that one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary-Lou. I'm enjoying the hunt - you've put together a good list. At least I got a photo out of dropping my one and only egg!
DeleteSuch beautiful photos and so creative.. I read back and wow what an achiever you are, listing what you need to do and getting it done, I'm in awe of you and ashamed to say I don't even get 15 mins of exercise done some days.. but I am succeeding with eating less. I looked at the books you've read this year and I had read some of your list, loved the Graham Norton. I must pop back to read more, you're inspirations'!
ReplyDeleteoops typo such have said, 'inspirational'
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine, it's very kind of you to say that. I find that mentioning my goals make me accountable and encourages me to get things done - not everything, but enough to feel progress is happening.
DeleteLovely photos - you've really given them a lot of thought and come up with something original!
ReplyDeleteThanks Debs. These are all the ones I thought were easy ... I think the remainder will be more challenging.
DeleteWonderful finds! I especially like the tree knot & the bubble wrap made me nod my head and laugh outloud.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Who can resist bubble wrap?
DeleteEvery one a winner! Especially the egg and seeds. I'm seeing lots of triangles. The fence knot is very clever. (I might have said that before. )
ReplyDeleteIt's alright, you can say it again 😂
DeleteI'm really enjoying looking for things to fit the prompts. Are you doing it this year?
I really like your choices, especially the broken egg and the fence knot.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo of #4 goes well for #6 as well.
I still couldn’t find a triangle. 😁
Thanks Nil. I found triangle quite easy to find even though I originally thought it would be hard. Do you have any triangular road signs near where you live or look for lettering - the negative space in a capital A is a triangle.
DeleteWhat great finds! There are so many good ones, it's hard to pick a favorite. The egg and knot in the wood are particularly inspired!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen,
ReplyDeleteSpectacular your participation.
You were very happy with your findings.
Hugs,
Ailime
Hi there, I've stopped by through the link on Mary-Lou's blog ... you have some great finds. I love the shot of the bubble wrap! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ruth, I think everyone is liking the bubble wrap!
DeleteI'll be round to visit yourself and all the other participants tomorrow.
