Weekly Reflections
it started snowing last night! |
Reasons to be cheerful ...
- texting, chatting, and emailing with family and friends
- rediscovering lots of things I'd forgotten I have as I start packing up the house
- trying out a couple of new to me recipes
- binge watching all 10 seasons of The Blacklist
- listing ideas for my new home ... whether any of them will actually be implemented remains to be seen, but I am enjoying coming up with all the ideas
- adding more dates to my diary ... mostly medical appointments, but at least I know I'm receiving the care I need
- getting back to blogging ... I've missed it!
- appreciating another bag of books from my sister and getting back into reading again
- making a decision on what to do with all my music books, most of which I no longer use since retiring from teaching
I am grateful ...
- for all the offers of help with the house move
- for the NHS and the option of free health care
- for central heating now that the cold weather is here
Good luck with the packing, the more you do now the easier moving day will seem. Happy New Year Eileen.
ReplyDeleteHappy to see you blogging again, you were missed.
It sounds like a good week. If I don't write down the positive glimmers I only remember things that went wrong. Arilx
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to see your return to blogging, I love your positive weekly round up. Hope the move goes well. I seem to be frequently rehousing things to charity these days, it always feels good to make the decision on items no longer needed. Val aka Veeknits
