Weekly Reflections

it started snowing last night!

Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • texting, chatting, and emailing with family and friends
  • rediscovering lots of things I'd forgotten I have as I start packing up the house
  • trying out a couple of new to me recipes
  • binge watching all 10 seasons of The Blacklist
  • listing ideas for my new home ... whether any of them will actually be implemented remains to be seen, but I am enjoying coming up with all the ideas
  • adding more dates to my diary ... mostly medical appointments, but at least I know I'm receiving the care I need
  • getting back to blogging ... I've missed it!
  • appreciating another bag of books from my sister and getting back into reading again
  • making a decision on what to do with all my music books, most of which I no longer use since retiring from teaching

I am grateful ...

  • for all the offers of help with the house move
  • for the NHS and the option of free health care
  • for central heating now that the cold weather is here

  2. It sounds like a good week. If I don't write down the positive glimmers I only remember things that went wrong. Arilx

  3. How lovely to see your return to blogging, I love your positive weekly round up. Hope the move goes well. I seem to be frequently rehousing things to charity these days, it always feels good to make the decision on items no longer needed. Val aka Veeknits

    1. Thanks Val. I now realise that I will have loads to get rid of once I've moved and then I need to focus on only buying things I really need!
