Weekly Reflections
Reasons to be cheerful ...
- texting, chatting, and emailing with family and friends
- choosing the location for my monthly photo
- adding more dates to my diary: seeing Tim Spector in conversation, Susie Dent promoting her first novel, Torvill and Dean's final tour, and booking a holiday near York.
- learning that my car passed its MoT
- making some progress on the house sale/purchase
- consistently aiming to be healthy by walking every day, cooking better quality meals for myself with plenty of veg, and looking after my mental health
- binge watching The Night Agent series one ... another good choice that we both enjoyed
- enjoying a catch up with friend L
- enjoying a walk around the marina for the first time in ages
- eating 32 plant based foods in one week
I am grateful ...
- for a safe and warm house
- for working appliance that make life so much easier
- for the local community Facebook pages and the offers of help from complete strangers

ReplyDeleteThst sounds awful. I hope you feel better soon. xx
DeleteWhen you make the effort to notice - there are so many little glimmers through out the day that it feels wonderful, some days take a little more looking, but they are definitely there x
ReplyDeleteYou're right, those little glimmers are always there if you look hard enough for them xx
DeleteYou have had a very fruitful week!
