Saturday Chores and Time With a Friend

It's a bit and pieces sort of morning today. There's a load in the washing machine and two pots of soup bubbling away on the hob. The next job is to charge the camera battery and then sort through the recycling. They have changed what can be put into each bin for the kerbside collection so I need to have a bit of a re-sort, which sounds awful but it's only the stuff in the kitchen recycling bins so won't take long. I cooked a roast dinner yesterday so also have the leftover cooked veg to deal with, which is simply a case of magicking it into bubble and squeak and sticking it in the freezer. 

Lauren will be arriving some time this afternoon and, weather permitting, we are going to Clanger Wood to take one of the photos I need for the scavenger hunt. She'll be staying for the evening so we'll probably choose something to watch on Netflix or TV and send out for a takeaway. I'm looking forward to seeing her and spending some time in her company.
