144/365: Mexican fleabane

I managed to finish the photos for selling the studio lights and submitted the enquiry form and, as I breathed a sigh of relief that I'd got it done, an automated reply pinged back to say that they were out of office until the end of June and will deal with my enquiry on their return ... it seems that there was no need to rush after all! But ... it's done now and if it turns out that they aren't interested, I will at least have the photos ready to contact other companies. I'll wait for the Bristol company's response, simply because it's close to home and delivery/collection of the items will be so much easier than with any of the other companies I've found.

G will be here to cut my hair this morning but that's my only commitment for the day so, while I'm in the mood, I think I'll relist some of the items that didn't sell. I used Gumtree for most items so will try eBay this time. I'm not quite sure how many items remain unsold so it's probably a good idea to get a handle on everything anyway. Whatever doesn't sell after this second listing will go to the local auction house in June.

Because I'm so close to the end of the decluttering project I'm looking ahead and thinking about how I can celebrate/treat myself, but obviously not until it is all well and truly finished. I haven't settled on anything in particular but currently on the list of possibilities is a trip to London to see 3 or 4 shows and a bit of sightseeing, a trip to the coast, a city break with friends, or a holiday on the Isle of Wight or Isle of Man. Whichever I decide on, it's not likely to be before September so I have plenty of time to choose what I want to do and then plan accordingly!

  1. Well, at least you got the photos done and the form sent off, so you don't have to think about it until they respond at the end of June or early July. You got it off your list and can move on to other things. Well done!

I like all your plans to celebrate the end of decluttering! I'm still plodding along with my decluttering, but, I am making some progress. :)

    1. Yes, it's ready and waiting so I have done as much as I can for now.

I'm keen to get it all over and done with. I should have disposed of Ced's things a long time ago but I only now feel ready to let the final things go. I'll have to find something else to do with my time once I do finally finish!

  2. Planning a treat for yourself sounds fun, especially one that offers adventure ... & if in the month of September, time on your adventure to find any leftover needs for the SPSH!

    1. A treat in September will be something to look forward to, that's the idea any way. I think that the SPSH is going to occupy a lot of my summer! 😊

  3. The fleabane looks so delicate - I wonder if it works. I am impressed by your decluttering. You absolutely deserve something, even if it is just some time blocked out absolutely for you!

    1. I still have to complete it all, so in the meantime I will enjoy planning my 'end of decluttering' celebration!
