Weekly Reflections
233/365: a beautiful sunset |
Reasons to be cheerful ...
- phoning, texting and emailing with family and friends
- catching up with my late partner's brother
- finishing off the dining room by ordering my table and chairs, and getting a really speedy delivery
- appreciating the change in the weather, especially the arrival of some much needed rain
- continuing to be selective about which TV programmes I watch and definitely getting more enjoyment out of the ones I choose to watch ... currently enjoying Shetland, Hobby Man, and the new Ruth Goodman series, A Farm Through Time
- adding more dates in my diary
- receiving my second SimplyCook box ... I have penne alla rustica, Cajun sweet potato bake, nasi goreng, and jambalaya to look forward to over the next few weeks
I am grateful ...
- for migraine medication
- for cooler nights
- for the advice available on Martin Lewis' website
Lifestyle changes
- daily walk: Achieved on 4 days but mostly indoor walks
- weekly personal training session: No session this week so I did extra exercises at home
- twice a week - 2 x 10 reps of each of three exercises: Achieved on 4 days
I hadn't realised Ruth Goodman has a new series out. Thanks for the info. xx
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, it's on Channel 5. Hope you enjoy it xx
