Weekly Reflections

233/365: a beautiful sunset

Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • phoning, texting and emailing with family and friends
  • catching up with my late partner's brother
  • finishing off the dining room by ordering my table and chairs, and getting a really speedy delivery
  • appreciating the change in the weather, especially the arrival of some much needed rain
  • continuing to be selective about which TV programmes I watch and definitely getting more enjoyment out of the ones I choose to watch ... currently enjoying Shetland, Hobby Man, and the new Ruth Goodman series, A Farm  Through Time
  • adding more dates in my diary
  • receiving my second SimplyCook box ... I have penne alla rustica,  Cajun sweet potato bake, nasi goreng, and jambalaya to look forward to over the next few weeks

I am grateful ...
  • for migraine medication
  • for cooler nights
  • for the advice available on Martin Lewis' website

Lifestyle changes
  • daily walk: Achieved on 4 days but mostly indoor walks
  • weekly personal training session: No session this week so I did extra exercises at home
  • twice a week - 2 x 10 reps of each of three exercises: Achieved on 4 days
