128/365: enjoying the last of the tulips

Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • phoning, texting and emailing with family and friends
  • finishing the reorganisation of the garage, thanks to S and all his help
  • enjoying a trip to the cinema with L to see Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore
  • changing the theme template for my blog, something I've been meaning to do for months
  • being able to gift some of my late partner's tool to S as a way of thanking him for all his help, and seeing that he couldn't disguise his delight
  • missing the weekly Indian cookery class but finding a good substitute in the form of some Indian cookery videos on YouTube including some uploaded by Monica, the class instructor ... thanks for the suggestion, Bless
  • buying the trellis planters for the garden
  • adding some more dates to my diary
  • watching the Great British Sewing Bee
  • and best of all, hearing that my friend's daughter gave birth to her second child yesterday, a healthy little boy

I am grateful ...
  • for all the help from S and from other friends
  • for online deliveries of medication
  • for the positive emotional changes I'm experiencing as a direct result of the progress I'm making on my 2022 goal

Lifestyle changes
  • daily walk. Achieved
  • daily knee strengthening. Achieved

  2. Lovely to read all the good things that are happening, Eileen, and your many reasons for being cheerful and grateful. :) I'm glad you found my suggestion of online videos to be helpful. :) Some of those cooking videos end up making me feel very hungry, but, I do enjoy watching them. :)

    1. Thanks Bless, there's no doubt that life is improving, which I think has a direct link to the progress made on the decluttering side of things.

It was an excellent suggestion ... there are so many videos that I'm spoiled for choice. .
