245/365: one of the roses in the bouquet

So the good news is that my laptop is now working properly and should last me for another couple of years. Kate sorted out the internet issues and I currently have a decent speed but if the speed falls off again over the next few days I'll be looking to change my supplier. I'm just so pleased it was a cheap fix and I don't have to splash out on a new laptop before I'm ready ... I'm not even moaning about having to reset a lot of my passwords! I didn't manage to visit many blogs yesterday, or to respond to comments on mine so will do my best to catch up over the weekend.

M will be here this morning to sort out the garden. There's still plenty of colour but it's all looking a bit tired and raggedy and is in desperate need of her attention. I think it's been a month since her last visit so I'm assuming that today will be one of her longer sessions, which means I will probably miss some of today's nutrition focus. It's all about nutrition and the autumn harvest today so I'm hoping to at least see the start of the session even if I miss the Q&A part.

I'm going round to J's home again later on to watch the last three episodes of the Reacher series. She has family commitments until some time this afternoon or maybe even later so I'm waiting for a text to tell me she's home, and then I'll go round. I just need to keep myself amused at home until I hear from her ... reading and piano practice fits the bill, I think!

  1. Good news that your laptop is sorted for a good while now, we would all be lost without the internet I'm sure. I tidied a bit in my garden yesterday, the heat has definitely been too much for the plants. Enjoy your day.

    1. I'm relieved to have it working properly again as so much of my life is online now. I agree with you that's the same for a lot of other people as the internet has become an essential part of life .

Thanks Eileen, I had a great day.

    1. Thanks Bless. I can start using my camera for photos now the laptop is working properly so I am especially pleased about that.

I was good to see M again after a four week break and I spent the rest of the day with J, so a good time all round!

  3. I'm glad that the laptop is fixed. I don't want to think about what I would do without mine!

I feel like it's a raggedy time of year for plants, but I know that you are amazing in the garden. It will look awesome, I'm sure.

    1. I had a tablet to use but it's not the same as a laptop and I couldn't deal with any of my camera photos on the tablet. I'm looking forward to sorting out a backlog of photos now.

I'm not amazing on the practical side of the garden. That's all down to M's skill and hard work. I'm good at coming up with the ideas ... that's my speciality!

  4. Glad the laptop is fixed. I really like mine. I find it a lot easier to type on than my phone. We really enjoyed Reacher. Can't wait for more episodes. Have a lovely weekend.

    1. I much prefer to use my laptop rather than phone or tablet so I'm glad it's all be sorted out.

I also really enjoyed Reacher and am eagerly awaiting the second series. Hope you have a great weekend too.
