Weekly Reflections
Reasons to be cheerful ...
- chatting with family and friends
- getting the phone line inspected and repaired, resulting in fully functioning broadband and internet access
- publishing the WPSH list and all the fun that comes with looking for the photos
- getting my hair cut
- selling some more items
- catching up on all the outstanding admin tasks
- trying out and enjoying a new online session ... the Community Coffee Morning organised by Mirthy, as well as ...
- finding a few other online sessions for entertainment rather than learning
- finding fabric that I'd forgotten about ... enough to make two single quilts (maybe next year)
- making a start on planning new adventures for next year
- having quite a musical week, listening to carols, playing the piano and clarinet every day, and tuning in to a couple of online concerts
- applying for my bus pass
- receiving another bag of books from my sister ... lots of good ones this time!
I am grateful ...
- for working internet!
- for central heating ... winter has definitely arrived!
- for finding new-to-me opportunities for online entertainment

That was a relief having your broadband and internet sorted, it must have been very frustrating for you when it was not working properly. Sounds like you had a very good week.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realised how much the internet issue was bothering me until it was sorted out. It's definitely a relief. Yes, I did have a good week thanks x
DeleteYou've done a tremendous amount this week, haven't you? How very satisfying!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
xx
I really do feel that I'm making progress, sometimes difficult to see on a daily basis, but listing it like this helps to keep an eye on the bigger picture.
DeleteThanks and hope you have a lovely day too.xx
Hello you’ve had a very eventful week ..I’m going to start a list.. inspired by yours x
ReplyDeleteI usually find that there are plenty of things to be cheerful about once I stop to think about it. I hope the list idea works for you x
DeleteNice list! It's always good to reflect on the week. Unfortunately I feel like I've been a bit of failure recently. Can't seem to get up the energy though I think sorting through Jane's things does mean I am getting a lot done - just not at my house!
ReplyDeleteWow, a lot of things to be cheerful and grateful, this week! You've had a very good week and accomplished a lot! Plus, you found some fabric! How wonderful! Looking forward to seeing the quilts you plan to make with it! :)
