267/365: bellflowers

In the end I stayed at home yesterday and spent most of the afternoon pottering in the garden. I needed to wait in for a phone call from the Community Link people about transport to and from the hospital next Thursday as I won't be able to drive and the buses/trains may not get me there in time for my appointment. I would normally ask my sister, L or J but for various reasons they can't help me this time so I've spoken to the Link co-ordinator a few times now but am still waiting for confirmation that they can help out.

This means I didn't get to take the rest of the photos I need for the SPSH and my monthly challenge so will attempt to finish them off this weekend. I'll do the 'at home' ones today as soon as I've been to the shop and bought the bags of sweets I need for a couple of the photos, and then the last two in town tomorrow when there should be fewer people about.

Apart from that I think it's going to be another pottering sort of day but indoors this time as there is rain forecast for this afternoon. I'm behind with commenting on your blogs so will try to catch up over the weekend.

  2. I hope you are able to get a ride to the hospital and back, Eileen. I, too, need to take some photos, this weekend for both you monthly challenge and the SPSH! Time is running out! Hope you have a good day. :)

    1. I'm still waiting for confirmation so will phone again next week if I don't hear from them. It's a voluntary organisation so I don't want to hassle them but need to know so I can make other arrangements if necessary.

Good luck with finding the rest of your photos ... I'm not doing too well with mine today but I still have a few days to do something about it. I hope you enjoy your weekend.

  5. Really, you needed bags (plural) of sweets for the photo hunt -- obviously I missed an opportunity there and will look forward to which category you slot that into.

    1. I was going to use them for 'oh the colour' and 'out of place' but the photos didn't work as well as I'd imagined so I didn't use them in the end.
