Monthly Photo Challenge | Animals
I'm sharing my photos for my September monthly challenge where the theme was 'animals'. These were all taken at the local animal park.
The challenge is to take photos on the set theme; the photos must be taken during the month (no archive photos), a minimum of five photos but no upper limit, and there will be a new theme every month. The theme for November is 'tools'. Have fun!
You are quite welcome to join me in this challenge if you'd like to ... the more the merrier!
Oh, I love these photos! What a fun place to visit! I need to work on my post!
ReplyDeleteThe animal centre is run, under supervision, by adults with learning difficulties. There's also a cafe and it's all part of the Country Park so there is plenty of scope for walks as well. It is a fun place though I didn't have time to photograph all of the different animals they have there. I look forward to seeing your photos.
DeleteWhat a great set of photos- donkeys and billy goats fabulous to look at, not so easy to look after (or so I’ve been told)
ReplyDeleteWhat date will your November (tools) challenge be shown. Might enter that one....if I remember:)
Thanks Cathy. It'll be great if you do join in. There isn't a set end date except that all of the photos must be taken in that month. Just post in the last week of the month or the first week of the following month, whenever it suits you.
DeleteLovely photos of some very contented looking animals. I particularly love the little piggies. They have such a quality to seem contented wherever they are.
ReplyDeleteI liked the pigs as well. All of the animals looked very happy and well cared for, which was good to see. I think they are used to being fed by the visitors because they all headed over expecting food every time someone paused by their fences!
DeleteAaaw - cute. I love the sheep close-up.

I like sheep and could watch them for ages.
DeleteI like the wabbits best! And also the sheep close-up (did she realise her earrings didn't match?). The two goats look like parents waiting for their kid (ha!) to come off the school bus after a class trip.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lovely park. I investigated our local animal park too but it is still closed through inability to conform to social distancing. Luckily G was able to concoct some walks to include potential models including a very grumpy Shetland pony ... now I wonder whether that is how they always look!
Apparently mismatched earrings are the fashion. I know this because most of the animals were rocking the same mismatched look!
DeleteIt is a lovely place which I don't visit often enough. They had a one way system to follow around the park but to be honest it is so big that social distancing, combined with the reduced ticket only entry, is very easy to maintain.
You did have some fun with the theme & your visit to the park. Adorable ponies; hogs (pigs) are rather the type only a Mother could love. Your goat photos, I agree with Lady Ella, the two do look like a pair. I thought maybe of two nosy neighbours ...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the theme this time even though I didn't quite get the photos I'd wanted. I know what you mean about the pigs but they were very happy wallowing about in their pen. The goats were very nosy, especially the darker one with the purple ear clip.
DeleteWonderful photos! I shall have to keep an eye out for the themes as I take a lot of photos but sometimes struggle for something new.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. You're welcome to join us every month.
