Friday

It's raining again! I may not be loving it but the garden definitely is. The allium I photographed yesterday now looks like this ...

and the knautia macedonica is gearing itself up for its summer display.

Don't worry, I promise I won't photograph every single change as they get ready to flower!

It's the Nutrition focus online class next, where the focus will be on inflammation so I don't want to miss that. Afterwards I have a couple of emails to deal with and then ... I don't know. I doubt I'll go out but feel the need to do something different to fill my time though as I write this I have no idea what that 'something different' will be!

  1. Oh yes I'm good with lots of your garden photos, at any stage. It's cold & rainy here too. I'm very interested to hear what tips you get on nutrition & inflammation. I read yesterday that Q10 can help reduce migraines & that taking Tumeric can reduce internal inflammation.

    1. If you message me with your email address I will send you the nutrition notes as I probably won't put them on the blog. Turmeric definitely, but I don't know about Q10.

  2. Hello Eileen, my do something different today was (drumroll please) some weeding! A job I hate but all the rain has encouraged the weeds in the gravel bed to flourish. Boring job, still unfinished but felt quite saintly afterwards! Have a good weekend. I have no real plans, other than avoiding crowds of people who descend on a bank holiday weekend.

    1. I won't be going out over the weekend either - too many people at the best of times on a Bank Holiday so I don't want that worry as things are at present. Good luck with the weeding!

  3. It's a miserable day again today, can't wait for the sunshine they've promised for the Bank Holiday weekend. I won't be venturing out though, too much traffic and people. I like to see your garden flower photographs so don't worry about that.

    1. Let's hope they have it right and the sunshine appears for the weekend. I'm staying in too for exactly the same reason.

Thanks re the photos. I'm sure to take lots more but will try for some variety!

  4. Oh, rain drenched leaves and flowers are so nice to see! :) I, too, love seeing all the flowers at each stage of blooming, so, will not complain about too many photos! I'm amazed at how much they can change in just a day!

I hope you found something fun and different to do afterwards. I'm trying to focus on what I can do while I rest, instead of fretting about what I can't do!

My doctor has me on a supplement called "CoQ10"; I'm not sure if that is the same as the Q10 mentioned by Mary-Lou, but, it is supposed to be an antioxidant and help with "heart and muscle health" according to the label.

    1. I'm not familiar with the Q10 supplement so I Googled it - one description said it's for 'older' adults and, as you are 15 days older than me, that explains why you have it and not me! 😂😂

I didn't really do anything with my time - a few games of sudoku, afternoon TV, but nothing different and nothing really satisfying.

Expect an overload of garden photos then ... it's your own fault 😀
