Monday At Home

(very wet) pieris flowers!

I don't have much in the diary for this week. I'm seeing Joy tomorrow and have a piano lesson on Wednesday but that's about it. M should be here on Thursday but isn't feeling well so has warned me that she may need to cancel and there aren't any U3A groups this week either. So, it seems like the ideal time to do something useful around the house.

I have the choice of cleaning, decluttering and/or reorganising. None of them really strike me as being much fun but they all need to be done eventually, so the only question is which shall I tackle first? Probably the reorganising. I need to move stuff from the music room up to the playroom and both rooms need a good sort out. That activity may uncover more things to be decluttered and when I've finished moving things around, both rooms will need a good clean. Okay, I've talked myself into it and I seem to have a plan of sorts, so I'll go and get started ... well, maybe just one more coffee first!

  1. I hope your reorganising goes to plan and once you get started it won't seem too much of a chore xx

    1. Thanks Eileen. I've made a start so that's the hardest part overcome. I just have to keep going now! xx

  2. Good luck with the re-organizing the two rooms - oh maybe there are some delights to discover (col). I am glad to read that you are enjoying the new piano teacher. It seems your pieris plant definitely survived the cold & frost earlier in the season. Yeah!

    1. Thanks Mary-Lou. I've found things for the charity shop but nothing exciting that I want to keep ... so far!

I'm liking the change of direction with the choice of music and the new teacher is very pleasant.

Yes, I'm do glad the pieris has survived. It seems happier that ever and not bothered by the cold weather at all! xx

  3. Sounds like a good week to just relax, in my opinion, with a little cleaning and reorganizing thrown in. Well done on getting started - that's always the hardest step for me!
It's a sunny day, here. I have my appointment with K, my tax accountant, this afternoon. It's supposed to rain on Wednesday, so, I don't know if M will be able to do anything in the garden. If not, he'll be here on Friday. Otherwise, no plans for the week! Does that mean I should get started on an organizing project, myself? :D

    1. It needs to be done because it's starting to get me down! I'll be glad when it's done though.

You have to see the tax accountant so that cancels out any suggestion of organising anything. You're off the hook for a while 😊xx
