new cookbooks, arrived yesterday

I have personal training this morning, so a great way to start the day. While I'm not feeling too energetic just yet I am looking forward to it, especially the stretching exercises ... I know I'll feel wide awake after the session and I definitely need to be moving around more. 

I'll only have some fruit before the session (so my stomach isn't empty when I take my daily meds) and will have a brunch/early lunch when I get back. This is the one day where meal times aren't ideal ... it's the Canasta group this afternoon and they meet at 1pm so I need to eat much earlier than normal. I usually eat my midday meal between 1:30pm and 2pm but today will need to eat at about 11:45am so I have time to let the food settle and have a hot drink, get ready without rushing, and leave early enough to pick up JL on the way. I am enjoying the Canasta group though, so it's worth it!

I finished off my meal planning after the new cookbooks arrived so I'll cobble together a shopping list tonight. If I can get a slot for tomorrow I will order online and have it delivered but if not, will go into town tomorrow morning. I need to restock my homecooked meals as the freezer is looking rather empty and this is a good week to get started on that ... there's nothing in the diary until Friday.

  4. Hopefully both your new cookbooks provide endless ideas for meals. I've just read an article about the importance of first thing stretching is so important & good for you, not just before exercise. I need to follow my cats lead on this :) Hope you have a good day.

  5. yes so that is for me in the early evening, when i have a yoga class, the not feeling to energetic beforehand, but while at it and afterwards feeling great!
