I like the view from your spare bedroom. Your garden looks so nice, even with it being in the middle of winter. You have created a really nice space! Lots of good things to be cheerful and grateful about, even with the knee pain; I'm very thankful to hear that the knee is healing well. Well done on the weight loss, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bless. There's still plenty of interest even during the winter, more than I was expecting and it's stayed greener than I was expecting as well. It's a really peaceful space and you can see how my neighbour's garden wraps around mine, so it is also well protected.
DeleteMy knee is healing well so I doubt I will bother with the doctor for now and just mention it when I go in for my next lot of blood tests.
That's a nice view of your garden. I'm glad your knee problem is easing and well done on your weight loss.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen. The knee is almost back to normal, so not without problems but at least back to what I'm used to. I'll give it another week and then start back on the strengthening exercises. The weight loss was a complete surprise, I was expecting a gain!
DeleteYour little garden really does look nice and, come the summer, it will be a real picture.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad the knee injury isn't that serious.
xx
Hopefully I'll be able to afford the arches this year (now delayed slightly because I bought the piano!) which will make a big difference to how it all looks but I'm pleased with how it is all coming together.
DeleteThanks re the knee injury xx
That's a lovely view even in winter. It'll be gorgeous with flowers and your new fence in spring.
ReplyDeleteHow nice your knee is better, maybe this week yo'll be able to go walking again.
Enjoy the week! :)
It looks like the fencing will be replaced in February so in time to enjoy all the new growth and it won't hold up the new planting.
DeleteI'm resting my knee for another week and then will get back to exercising again. Hope you have a good weekend too. xx
I'm glad that you're easing back on the knee a little. Fingers crossed that it's better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's much better now, thanks. The pain has eased off during the day. Just the occasional twinge now!
DeleteOh I love it when folks share the views from their windows. Does that make me a nosy parker? Surely not, as I didn't ask. You are still blessed with quite a bit of green to be seen. How exciting to have a new piano on the way. And glad to hear you had good news on the coronavirus front. Alas, 5 of the 7 cards I sent to church folk today were get well wishes for Covid.
ReplyDeleteI like to see views from windows too. I don't think it's being nosy, just interested! I'm surprised that there is still so much greenery at this time of year. Some of the plants didn't die back as much as I thought they would.
DeleteCovid is still affecting lives. I can't understand why restrictions are being lifted so quickly and hope we don't pay the price in the long term.
Nice list.
ReplyDeleteI hope you knee continues to improve. It's not nice being in pain and hurting when you move.
Thanks Sharon. My knee is much better today and is pretty much back to normal.
