An Easy Day

lemon tart with raspberry sorbet ... delicious!

There were eight of us at the birthday meal yesterday and a good time was had by all. We had the three course meal on the set lunch menu, which was lovely but I'm just not used to eating such a big meal at lunchtime so by the time I got home I was feeling sleepy and had to snuggle down for a nap.  

I'm still tired this morning so am aiming for an easy day. I have to fit in some piano practice and a short walk but that's all on my must do list. I'll muddle through the rest of the day with some reading, daytime TV, and whatever else takes my fancy.

      All of the dessert were rather special, it was difficult to choose! I've taken it to extremes today and have hardly moved from my chair! Hope you have a good day too xx

      It was delicious! I usually only have two courses when I eat out so having a starter as well was just a bit too much ... lovely and I enjoyed it, but too much really. xx
