| 32/365: testing the camera on my new tablet |
Today I have to get on with the housework before I think about doing anything else. I heard back from the friends I'd contacted and I now have a full diary for this week, including entertaining at home for the first time in I don't know how long ... probably two years. The occasion merits a clean and tidy room so I can't avoid it any longer.
I'm not making any other plans for the day. If I do everything I need to do, and if time permits, I have plenty of hobbies to occupy myself so won't be bored.
Your tablet takes a great photo, I have never taken a photo or blogged from my iPad, maybe I should.

The photos are better than I was expecting so it'll be good for some quick snaps around the house. I don't think I'd want to take it out with me though, it's a bit too big for that.
DeleteMy friend's daughter is popping in for a quick catch-up and to say goodbye as she is moving out of the area on Saturday. On Thursday L is coming round for lunch. I'm looking forward to seeing both of them.

ReplyDeleteMaybe. I moved the vase nearer the window so I could get some better lighting but apart from that I just took a quick snap. There are lots of adjustments I could have made but will leave those for when I have more time to play about with them.
DeleteI'm looking forward to seeing my friends again. It's two separate visits with one visitor each time, so not too stressful.
I've nearly finished sorting the downstairs and have managed two breaks for piano playing so far!
Isn't it wonderful that we can have visitors again! Have a good day. The thing about cleaning for visitors is that even after they've gone, the house is still spring cleaned.

The tablet takes some very high quality photos - look out February's circular theme! (col). As for cleaning for guests, you could put out some get well cards, that way they think you've been sick ... wait no, not in this climate not a good suggestion ...
ReplyDeleteI'll only use the tablet for photos taken at home as it's too big to carry around with me. I decided I was cleaning more for myself than my guests ... they wouldn't notice at all! Too many things had migrated to the living room during the lockdowns and it was looking really cluttered and untidy, so I've now put everything back in its proper place and it looks tons better. They know I haven't been sick so it wouldn't have worked but thanks for the suggestion 😊

Thanks Ailime. The camera on my tablet is better quality than I was expecting so I'm pleased with that. I've had a productive day so far and there's not much more to do until I've finished for the day.

ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. I'm really pleased with the tablet's camera - it's much better than I was expecting. Visitors are tomorrow and Thursday but I've finished tidying up in readiness.
