Weekly Reflections

58/365: the view from the living room

 Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • phoning, texting and emailing with family and friends
  • enjoying a visit to The Nursery with Joy for cheese scone and hot chocolate
  • adding some more social events to my diary
  • spending an enjoyable afternoon with J
  • completing a photo walk around town
  • finding all the photos for my monthly photo challenge and scheduling the post rather than the usual last minute scramble to get it all done!
  • having another migraine free week
  • completing some of the tasks on my 2022 goal list, so gradually chipping away at some of the things that I have allowed to negatively affect my mood

I am grateful ...
  • for sunny days and blue skies, giving a break from the stormy days
  • for central heating and a warm home on cold days
  • for access to the local library service

Lifestyle changes
  • exercise:
    • daily walk. Achieved, but only doing a 10 minute walk every day
    • daily knee strengthening. Achieved, but currently only doing 10 minutes every day
  • weight: 1lb gain

    1. It's a bit of an odd week with my health ... I didn't have a migraine which is great, but I have gained weight for the second week running for no obvious reason.

I'm really glad you are enjoying the challenges. I'm definitely enjoying seeing your photos.

    1. Thanks Sharon. It's lacking the colour from the pots and the climbers but it's got promise!

    1. Migraine free weeks are definitely a cause for celebration. The library has now returned to normal service so, although I will continue to use their online books and magazines, nothing beats a 'proper' books so I will be calling in this week to borrow some.

Thanks and hope you have a good week too. x
