Weekly Reflections

86/365: a friendly, but slightly blurry, resident of the marina

Reasons to be cheerful ...

  • phoning, texting and emailing with family and friends
  • receiving good news from optician
  • thankful there were no extra charges for the boiler service, and ...
  • ... confirming that M, the boiler engineer, can sort out the other plumbing issues for me
  • loving all of the colour from the spring bulbs and the signs that the garden is waking up again
  • hearing that L is doing well and J has recovered
  • adding dates to the diary
  • deciding on a plan to finish off the last of the decluttering
  • planning an adventure, hopefully for May
  • enjoying a Zoom meetup with L and P
  • enjoying walks around the marina

I am grateful ...
  • that I wake up every morning safe in my own home, free from the terrors of war
  • for the arrival of spring and warmer, sunny days
  • for the NHS giving access to free health care

Lifestyle changes
  • exercise:
    • daily walk. Achieved
    • daily knee strengthening. Achieved
    • Mad March Mile daily. Achieved
  • weight: no change

  2. It's been a lovely week warm and sunny and wonderful to see the garden waking up. It's a shame you are troubled with your eye problem but you remain cheerful and good to know you have an adventure to look forward to. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

    1. Thanks Eileen. The weather has certainly helped and I'm glad I was able to get out for some walks as we're now promised a week of rain. I'm just grateful that my eye problem isn't painful and at least I know that it will eventually stop being a bother. Hope you have a lovely Sunday x
