Wednesday 5th October
The only thing in the diary for today is this morning's nutrition class, looking at the impact of acid versus alkali forming foods, and a possibility of meeting up with J this afternoon. Both things are doubtful as I'm not sure that I'm in the mood for the nutrition topic and J has hinted that she may not be well enough to come out to play, a result of her grandson generously sharing his sore throat and cough!
Yesterday I finished off my list of chores for this week and bought the bits of shopping that I needed so there's nothing that must be done today. This is actually a good thing as buying the oodie has highlighted an issue I hadn't considered ... the thing is enormous and I'm planning to get at least one maybe two more which will be equally enormous and combined they will almost merit their own postcode ... a bit of an exaggeration but you see the problem. So, where am I going to keep them? There's no room in my wardrobe or the airing cupboard even for one and when the warmer weather returns I will need to be storing all three so today's fun little task is to come up with a sensible solution utilising whatever I have at home already.
As for the rest of the day, it'll probably be spent reading - I need to finish the U3A book group choice ready for next week and want to make a start on the new Richard Osman book. There's nothing on TV that I want to watch and I've suspended my piano lessons for a while so there's nothing to stop me curling up on the sofa and losing myself in the story.
