Me on Monday

Me on Monday is looking forward to a busy day ...

.... finish off the laundry, probably two more loads should do it

... do one or two of the housework tasks, probably toilets and showers

... publish the post for the monthly WPSH link up. I couldn't get it to work yesterday so gave up before I threw the laptop in the bin!

... take advantage of the good weather and get out for a walk

... take part in the third diabetes prevention course

... watch an online talk on how to make best use of DNA results in genealogical research

... hopefully finish off the day with choir practice but it depends on the time notified for my supermarket delivery. I had to have a flexi timeslot this time that clashes with the practice time so I may have to miss it this week.

    1. Thanks Joy. I've decided against choir tonight and will go to the Tuesday session instead. Everything so far is ticked off so just the talk and the delivery to do!

    1. The talk starts in an hour am I'm hoping for some tips on how best to use my DNA results.

The walk was lovely and I'm going over to the marina once it's dark for a second walk and to enjoy the lights reflected in the water.

  3. Sounds like a full day, to me! Enjoy your walk and hope you can still join the choir practice, either after the grocery delivery or while you wait for it!

I've experienced some difficulty with uploading photos for the February monthly photo challenge - I'm still waiting for a couple of last minute photos; I'm hoping they'll load by tomorrow, if not, I'll have to complete the post without them!

    1. I'm wanting to use my DNA results to find my paternal grandfather's line and am hoping this talk will help me get starting on identifying the best results to start with when there is no obvious connection. Fingers are crossed ...

  5. DNA proved my mum and dad were who they said they were😊
I wonder if the talk you’re going to watch will be on YouTube later - do you know?

    1. Haha, good news about the proof of parents ☺️. It says it won't be on YouTube, so it's watch it today or not at all!

  6. A great day is planned ... let's hope that your delivery comes at a time that does not impact choir time. One of my sister's & her daughter did the DNA test before Christmas & are still waiting their results.

    1. Choir will be tomorrow now - I'll go to the Tuesday session this week.

I've had my DNA test results for a couple of years but recently ordered a different test that supposedly provides much more information and I'm hoping this new test will help my find my dad's family.

  7. Oh well now, you shall be busy. I almost feel guilty by comparison - almost. I have a day of crafting planned and I may break it up and do a little more dusting and rearranging of shelves. And then more crafting. Have a good week.
