The theme for this month's challenge was 'the letter C.
curls on a teddy bear
clarinet
chimney
crossword puzzle
the Italian for keys is chiavi
cube (of the Rubik's kind!)
chess pieces
chess board puzzle
cans
clefs, crotchets and crotchet rests
The challenge is to take photos on the set theme; the photos must be taken during the month (no archive photos), a minimum of five photos but no upper limit, and there will be a new theme every month.
Thanks to everyone who has taken part. The theme for April is 'number(s)'. Have fun!
I agree with Ailime! Excellent photos and very creative, too! Love the curly fur on the teddy bear! Musical notation crotchets are usually called "quarter notes" over here and quarter rests. :)
Thanks Bless. I love the fur on that teddy but he doesn't have a cute face and the kids were all wary of him when they were little 😂
You probably see all the different notes in the future, chopping and changing between English and American naming conventions depending on which letter of the alphabet is the theme!
Thanks Maggie. I didn't think of chimney until the last minute and even then it wasn't my idea. I was wandering up and down the Close looking for things beginning with C with no luck until my neighbour suggested chimney. It's obvious as soon as someone points it out, isn't it.
Hi Eileen,
ReplyDeleteYour photos are magnificent. Challenge overcome with distinction!
Hugs and have a good week healthy.
Ailime
Thanks for your kind words, Ailime.
DeleteI hope you have a good week too xx

These are stunning. Professional standard. Lighting and exposure indoors are so hard for me.
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you. I still have a way to go with correcting exposure as the rejected attempts prove. It's getting easier though.
DeleteGreat photos! I agree with Ella they are very professional. Some thoughtful finds. Now why didn’t I think of chimney?

DeleteYou always take very good photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in for April one too!
Thanks Nil. Happy to hear you will join me for the April challenge.
